Kona Ice Beach Cities is excited to take part in OC Foodie Fest‘s salute to the Marines at Angels Stadium. On Friday night, August 19, the Angels and OC Foodie Fest will be hosting 500 Marine families from Camp Pendleton at the Angels vs. Orioles game. At a pre-game tailgate, KIBC and other OC Foodie Fest trucks will be providing complimentary food to the Marines and their families. We are grateful to have this opportunity to show our appreciation for the Marines’ service. After the game, the count down is on! Join us for OC Foodie Fest at Angels Stadium on August 27. Kona Ice Beach Cities looks forward to returning for another OC Foodie Fest. 2011 will be even bigger and better than last year. Hope to see you there!


Kona Ice Beach Cities is excited to be part of the first HB Gastro-Truck Fest at Peter’s Landing! We look forward to serving cool treats along side of our friends at Flavor Rush, Spud Runners, Flipped Out, Barcelona on the Go, Lime Crisp, Louks, Roling Sushi Van, Baconmania, Dogzilla, Oh for Sweets Sake and Sea Birds. 102.7 KIIS FM will be broadcasting live. Come out and join us from 11 AM to 3 PM at 16400 PCH, Huntington Beach/Sunset Beach.


Kona Ice Beach Cities will be serving its refreshing shaved ice treats at the Finish Line Festival of the 2010 Long Beach International City Bank Marathon & Half Marathon on October 17, 2010. The race course combines spectactular oceanfront vistas, charming seaside communities, and the metropolitan start and finish, making it one of the most beautiful big city marathons in the United States.

Thursday, September 23 will be a first-of-its-kind for Kona Ice Beach Cities. We have our first 4-event day!

We start things off at Moiola Elementary School in Fountain Valley for an after school event at 1:00 PM.

Then, we will serve treats to the kids at Newland Elementary School in Huntington Beach at 1:30 PM.

After Newland, we point the KEV north and drive to Marina High School in Huntington Beach to continue KIBC’s partnership with Marina Football Boosters. Kona Ice will be served at the Warren vs. Marina game from 2:30 PM to about 5:00 PM.

To finish the day, we will race, um drive, to Anaheim. Starting at 5:30 PM, we look forward to serving the kids and parents at Dale Junior High School for Back to School Night.

No, we are not talking about NFL’s Monday Night Football. Kona Ice Beach Cities is getting ready for a busy fall of serving youth and high school football all over our home town of Huntington Beach.

For high school, we are excited to be offering Kona Ice at every Marina Vikings varsity and junior varsity football game. On the youth front, we will be working game day Saturdays for Huntington Beach Jr All American Football and select practice nights for Huntington Beach Pop Warner Football.

We are excited to announce that Kona Ice Beach Cities has been nominated in the Food Network’s “America’s Favorite Food Truck” competition. The winning truck gets the opportunity to compete in Season 2 of the Food Network’s The Great Food Truck Race and a $10,000 prize.

Orange County’s foodie extravaganza kicks off tonight with the final OC Foodie Fest Preview Event. Kona Ice Beach Cities and three other OC trucks will be serving the crowd at Fox Fullerton Theater’s Outdoor Movie Night in Downtown Fullerton. Come see us starting at 7:00 PM then stay for the movie – James Bond’s Dr. No.

Then, on Saturday, the main event: OC Foodie Fest! 50 food trucks from OC and LA will gather at the Honda Cener in Anaheim along with great music and other enterainment and the Pretend City Childrens Area for all of those young Kona fans. We are very excited to be part of this historic event and look forward to introducing all of the foodies to the Flavor Wave. And, to give back to our community, we will be donating $1 from every large Kona sold back to the event charities.

Kona Ice Beach Cities is proud to be participating in OC Foodie Fest, Orange County’s first gourmet food truck event. OC Foodie Fest is taking place Saturday, August 28th at the Honda Center in Anaheim. The one-day event will be the ultimate foodie destination, featuring the best in popular mobile eats combined with a unique forum to showcase local entertainment & shopping to help support local charities.

To continue our tradition of giving back to our community, Kona Ice Beach Cities will donate $1.00 from every Large Kona sold at the 2010 OC Foodie Fest to the event charities.

We also will be participating in the OC Foodie Fest Preview Event at Fox Fullerton Theater Outdoor Movie Night on Thursday, August 26th from 7:00 to 10:00 PM. Join us at 500 N. Harbor Blvd. Suite E, Fullerton, CA 92832 (Corner of Harbor Blvd & Chapman Ave) for the original James Bond movie, Dr. No, and delicious treats from KIBC and other Orange County trucks participating in OC Foodie Fest.


Kona Ice Beach Cities is excited to be part of the Seal Beach Chamber of Commerce and its free Summer Concert Series. Join us every Wednesday night through September 1 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on the pier at the end of Main Street. Music starts at 6:00 PM.


Coming off of a great Fourth of July Holiday with the HBHS Cheerleaders and our new friends throughout Huntington Beach, Kona Ice Beach Cities prepares to take the KEV all over Northern Orange County over the next two weeks.

Tonight, we head to Anaheim for First Presbyterian Church of Anaheim’s Family Fun Night. Tomorrow, on July 10, KIBC will cool off music fans at the Legends of Rock concert at Irvine Lake.

Next week, on Friday and Saturday, we have a two day stint at the Lineman Competition hosted by Marina High School Football in Huntington Beach. Friday night, July 16, we are excited to return to Downtown Anaheim for the July installment of Rumble & Rock. And we hope to keep the KEV clean and the competitors happy at the Irvine Lake Mud Run on Sunday, July 18.

The following Thursday on July 22. we provide dessert at the conclusion of the HBHS Lil’ Oiler Cheer Camp at Dwyer Middle School in Huntington Beach. Mix in a couple of private events along the way and it will be a busy couple of weeks for the KEV – and we are looking forward to it.
